Bryce Young leads a new-look Panthers offense
Brad Idzik called plays for the first time against Chicago, and the Panthers looked like a different offense. Bryce Young threw for 361 yards, three touchdowns and ran for another, something only Steve Beuerlein had done before him in Panthers history.
Jalen Coker had 138 receiving yards and two scores, and Dave Canales expects him to play through the ankle he rolled in the opener.
Carolina gave up 17 points off turnovers and 59 in all, but moving the ball wasn't the problem. Against a Falcons offense that may struggle to string drives together, the Panthers shouldn't need anything close to 37 points this time.

Bijan Robinson put up 173 total yards on 29 touches against Pittsburgh and forced 12 missed tackles.
A Carolina defense that just allowed 59 points hasn't shown it can slow him down, and leaning on the run would ease the pressure on whoever plays quarterback.
Penix is the one we can't price well. If he starts and looks comfortable on the first couple of drives, Carolina's edge shrinks quickly.
