PL at 94% reflects the arithmetic of a proportional Senate race where Bolsonaro's party already holds the largest bloc and enters as the right's clear standard-bearer. The 2022 general handed PL the most Chamber seats, and the party's national organization dwarfs the fragmented field trailing at a point or two apiece. What would move this is a Lula first-round surge with coattails, or the left's federation consolidating votes that currently scatter across PT, PSB and PDT. Neither looks likely at these prices, and Senate seats reward a broad geographic footprint that the right built over two cycles. The residual 6% is mostly the cost of a long tail of parties that individually can't catch PL.
