Latvian Parliamentary Election Winner

The market has Apvienotais Saraksts at roughly 96 percent to win the most seats, and the polling behind it is unusually clean. PolitPro's late-September aggregate had AS leading near 23 percent, well clear of LPV around 13 and Progresivie around 12, with Prime Minister Andris Kulbergs incumbent after the Silina government fell in May. Latvia's proportional system spreads the vote across many lists, so a plurality of the seats does not require a large vote share, and AS holds a double-digit lead in a fragmented field. The risk is a late shift among the 40 percent of undecided voters flagged earlier, not any single rival closing the gap.
